Help for MARSIFOOT
PURPOSE:
Put a footprint of an instrument down in a mask image, given an XYZ. This
is a utility program to study footprints at a given location, not something
that would generally be called in a pipeline. Alternatively, the body
can be plotted instead of the feet (via -DO_BODY).
The location can be specified in either line/sample space (LS parameter) or
in XY space (XY parameter).
Most of the other parameters are the same as MARSITILT, allowing validation
of where the footprint is at a given point.
Note: This program started out as NSYTFOOT, an InSight-specific program.
It was multimissionized and renamed MARSIFOOT. All of the InSight
functionality is in this program; i.e. NSYTFOOT could be obsoleted.
HISTORY:
2011-11 rgd Initial version, based on nsyttilt.
2018-01 Steven Lu Implement radial and cross-radial offsets for WTS.
2020-07 rgd Multimissionized, added M20 helicopter support
